About the Position: VR Experiences Host

VRcadia is currently recruiting for the position of VR Experiences Host (“Host”), reporting to the General Manager of our London location.

The Host will be responsible for promoting an outstanding virtual reality experience to our guests in accordance with VRcadia’s standards of operation. The applicant should become a subject matter expert on all things related to our VR services and can consistently deliver personalized VR experience for both new and returning customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Greeting patrons as they arrive for their scheduled sessions
  • Checking-in guests and assigning VR stations
  • Aiding patrons with completing liability waiver
  • Complete VR station bookings and refunds through the POS terminal
  • Assist VRcadia patrons with setup and use of the VR system
  • Technical support and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
  • Learning existing and new content to better assist customers and create specialized VR experience menus for different customer groups
  • Cleaning hardware after usage

About the Position: VR Host & Content Specialist

 VRcadia is currently recruiting for the position of VR Host that specializes in content marketing, reporting to the General Manager of our London location.

As a Content Specialist, your duty is to be an advocate of compelling content that effectively showcases the VRcadia brand. The ideal candidate is passionately focused on the quality and detail of the all published content, to the point where he or she feels invested in the VRcadia brand itself.

You will also be primarily responsible for hosting customers in the VRcadia lounge. As a VR Host, you will be at the front lines of customer experience, and you will gain valuable insights from interacting with customers. These insights will provide the inspirations necessary to maximize relevance in the content you generate.

As a content specialist, your responsibilities include:

  • content coordination, including creation, revision and migration;
  • create and manage the creation of content and assets for various digital properties and channels, including social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), website, blog, email
  • develop content with the SEO-focused approach of a digital marketer, applying content to digital properties to enhance search visibility and audience engagement;
  • champion an attitude of continuous content improvement – review published content, provide recommendations for enhanced performance, and execute recommended plans;
  • conduct interviews with stakeholders such as customers, affiliate companies, members and other collaborators to generate content that offers information and/or perspective, especially those that is unique or scarce on the internet;
  • assist with the coordination and production of podcasts;
  • source and develop complementary visuals (e.g. banner images, infographics, presentations), working collaboratively with designers and developers;
  • update and optimize existing content on the website and blog (e.g. migrating content so it appears in the appropriate place, revise older blog posts to optimize for SEO);
  • maintain a high volume of quality content output, in addition to balancing various smaller copy requests as required (for example, copy for ads or other efforts).
  • assist with the development of customer journey maps, and;
  • leverage digital insights (e.g. Google Analytics, SEO tools Keyword Planning).

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal application has the following qualifications:

  • diploma in marketing/PR, journalism, literature, or equivalent work experience in marketing, sales, retail, and/or customer service;
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for pleasing and relevant visuals to go with them;
  • strong attention to detail;
  • ability to collaborate with other perspectives and individuals in the ideation and editing processes;
  • a working understanding of writing to optimize for search engines (SEO), both within content and behind the scenes (such as metadata);

About the Position: VR Host & Events Specialist

VRcadia is currently recruiting for the position of VR Host that specializes in event planning, reporting to the General Manager of our London location.

As an Events Specialist, you feel an adrenaline rush when orchestrating and launching an entertainment event because bringing people together is your passion and strength. As a VR Host, you will also curate the VR experience of event goers by facilitating their use of VR equipment, as well as guiding their selections within their VR experience.

As a Events Specialist, your responsibilities include:

  • As an Events Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and hosting various types of events as well as regular nights.
  • You will be focused primarily on event and venue activities that drive the increase of sales such as booth bookings or venue reservations.
  • You will be focused on planning and hosting themed events at the VRcadia venue,
  • You will also be focused primarily on activities and processes that drive increase in social media and other promotional engagements
  • Off-site events, including workshops, webinars, roll-outs, outreach campaigns, joint-partner events and company hosted events, will be used as a core marketing channel to showcase our games selection and services
  • External events, including conferences, conventions and festivals will also be used as marketing channels
  • You will collaborate with and project manage internal and external teams to scope and execute defined key event deliverables.
  • You will execute the end-to-end event cycle logistics (pre-event, during-event, and post event stages), while coordinating the communication and marketing efforts as well.
  • Additionally, you will use marketing automation tools and/or techniques to setup, generate and track the nurture programs. Finally, you will analyze and report on each event to understand the return on investment as well as identify and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Event Calendar Creation:
  • You will be collaborating with management to develop and finalize the annual event calendar.
  • Leveraging the approved calendar and budget, for each calendar event work with internal team to create a clear implementation plan which may include key goals, content required, venue, targeted partners, targeted customers, and budget required.

Regarding events, your focus will be on delivery:

  • Scope potential company-hosted events.
  • Manage all activities related to the booth and demonstrations at the booth.
  • Coordinate logistics related to all types of events including all activities related to the booth, shipments, IT requirements, etc.
  • Ensure all content and material for all events are scoped and available as needed including tracking that core information is available to those creating such content or materials with appropriate lead time.
  • Proactively scope and drive all communications pre-event, during-event and post-event.
  • Discussing the analyzed results from each event with the VRcadia team.
  • Leveraging marketing tools, coordinate the generation and execution of marketing campaigns, social media posts and other communication methods to generate and nurture leads to deliver against the defined targets.
  • Develop key messages for events and communications.
  • Define target audiences and generate specific recipients for such communications.
  • Write content and support ad hoc event marketing activities when needed.
  • Support new product launch announcements through tailored campaigns and messages.
Qualifications

The ideal application has the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business, communication, or equivalent work experience with events coordination and/or inbound marketing.
  • Proven project management/coordination and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing an event marketing calendar.
  • Committed to analysing results to ensure goals are being met or exceeded as well as recommending best practice improvement.
  • Up-to-date on trends and best practices in event management, social media and campaign marketing.
  • Experience working within relevant legislation.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s licence, valid passport and have access to a vehicle.
